      Welcome to the 80th Annual Hunger Games. Peace has been achieved, and enemies annihilated, and still the games of gore and glory rage on. As always, 24 tributes are chosen from each of the 12 districts, one male and one female under the age of 18; and each are put to the test in a fight to the death. Will you be reaped, or will you volunteer? And most importantly, will you be the first to die, or the last to stand?

      Rules:

• This verse is open to any and all fandoms, so long as you send me a message saying you want to join.
• When you message me, tell me your district, and whether your muse is a volunteer or tribute; if you choose Capitol member tell me what position you’d like to take up.
• With the way this works, only 24 tributes will be allowed in, and it will be first come, first serve.
• However, there will also be mentors, and various Capitol people, which there can certainly be numerous of.
• This is a general Hunger Games verse, meaning you can play the reaping, the train rides, the interviews, ect., all out on your own.
• After people have played out these things, eventually in the next few weeks, there will come an actual Arena date, where the countdown will commence, and soon, the games will actually begin.
• During the games, it will be be decided by the writers who will and will not die; aka, you have control over who will/won’t be killed depending on how much you converse with the other verse members.
• Triggers such as blood, gore, language, among several others will be common here, but i ask that you tag them as is appropriate for the safety of your fellow players.
• The tag you need to be tracking is: ;v: god hath no mercy
• When you’re added, you can reblog the post and spread the word!
• No OOC drama will be tolerated, and if it’s found out you so take part in any, you will be booted from the verse, and your position will be opened.

      Although rather intelligent, Ted never focused on his studies — or ‘never took them serious’ as his teachers said. He is the notorious class clown: he was the kid causing an electrical circuit just to get the entire class to laugh at his joke, the kid who spent time in detention rather than class. People thought he was just slow and used the fact of him being funny to derive from it — but that is far from the truth. In actuality, Ted was in top of his class: passing tests higher than others.

      His parents were too busy to even notice —- working to get a higher position; and thus, they were barely home. So there was Ted, home alone: creating a new invention that would stay tucked in his room because he couldn’t muster up the courage in him to ever bring it up to higher authority. They started paying attention to him too late: when his name was chosen from a piece of paper within a large, clear bowl.

      He was ripped from their clutching arms and shoved onto a train to be partnered up with someone he barely knew. To a land where he never been to. Away from a home he know he'd never return. And now he finds himself unable to laugh, unable to make a joke out of this because THIS IS NOT A JOKE. AND NO ONE IS LAUGHING.
